AIR PURIFIER FILTERS

There are a variety of reasons you may purchase a Honeywell 50250 air purifier, but how do you know it is the right one for you. The following are a few simple questions to ask yourself before you purchase one.

First thing you need to do is ask yourself why you want the air purifier. Do you have allergies, asthma, or other breathing disorders? Has your Physician recommended you to buy one, or do you just want cleaner fresh smelling air.

Once you have determined why you want an air purifier, then you need to figure out which room you will be using it in. After you have identified the room, find the square footage for that room. Each purifier has a certain square footage it covers. If you exceed that square foot it will not work properly. If you are using a portable one and transfer it to more than one room, make sure the square footage for every room is acceptable.

Next you need to think about what kind of filter system you want your purifier to have. There are two main filters available on the market, a disposable one, and a permanent one. The disposable one can get expensive to replace while the permanent one is easy to clean and never has to be replaced.

The final two things you want to consider are the ozone emissions and the sound level. If you want true clean air, look for zero ozone emission levels when purchasing an air purifier. Then make sure the sound level is a silent comfort level.
